At RMK Design, we prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) as foundational principles that shape our workplace culture. Through our HIGH 5 recognition program, we celebrate the unique contributions of every team member, fostering an environment where achievements are acknowledged across all levels. Our communication channels, including Slack, quarterly reviews, and team meetings, ensure that everyone’s voice is heard and valued. We promote collaboration in an open workspace and facilitate design community partnerships through Vendor Blender and WEdesign. Our anonymous employee surveys allow us to listen to and learn from diverse experiences, ensuring that everyone feels safe sharing their concerns. Each individual understands their role and is encouraged to celebrate their differences, recognizing how these unique perspectives enhance our collective success. We are committed to mentoring, upskilling, and cross-training, while our skills-first approach to talent acquisition and a diverse supply chain reflects our commitment to both environmental and DEI concerns. With a focus on employee retention and advancement based on merit, many of our team members have enjoyed long tenures, supported by goal-setting initiatives in quarterly reviews. Additionally, our DISC training fosters greater understanding of diverse communication styles, enriching our interactions and collaborations. Together, these efforts create a workplace where every employee thrives and contributes to RMK Design's success.
